MicroPP Privacy Policy

This document details the policies of MicroPP.net regarding Internet privacy issues to help users and clients understand the roles that technology and electronic commerce play in the collection and use of information provided. MicroPP.net wishes to ensure user confidence by promoting the principals of disclosure and fair information practices at our site.

MicroPP.net is committed to protecting the privacy of our users. We want to provide a safe, secure user experience. We will use our best efforts to ensure that the information you submit to us remains private, and is used only for the purposes as set forth herein. The following reflects our commitment to you.

We collect information that users provide voluntarily to us, including registration information, employment resumes, and career profiles. MicroPP.net does not provide personally identifiable information of users to a third party unless MicroPP.net specifically informs users at the time of collection or unless the users themselves give express consent. The resumes are used for the purpose of job applications, and users themselves submit their resumes to prospective employers when applying online for a position.

Visitors:
We gather information about all of our users collectively, such as what areas users visit most frequently and what services users access the most. We only use such information in the aggregate and not on an individual basis. This information helps us determine what is most beneficial for our users, and how we can develop a better overall website for our users. This information may be shared with our partners, but only in the aggregate, so that they too may develop a better overall career website for you, as well.

Registration:
MicroPP.net requires users of MicroPP services to supply personal information during the Account Registration process. Specifically, users must supply the following: user selected login ID and password, first and last name, email address, birthday, city, state, and country. These are vital to MicroPP.net for internal verification of user identity. Occasionally MicroPP.net will send to registered users emails regarding updates to the web site
.

Resume:
Since MicroPP.net is a career site, we give you the option of putting your resume in our database, to be searched by prospective employers / recruiters or responding to individual ads with your resume. We use our best efforts to grant access to this database only to recruiters, hiring managers, headhunters, and human resource professionals. However, we are not responsible if some other third party, such as someone posing as the aforementioned and evade security measures and gains access to the database, and, subsequently, your resume. You may remove your resume from our database at any time. However, recruiters who have access to the database may have retained a copy of your resume in their own files or databases. We are not responsible for the retention, use, or privacy of resumes in these instances.

Users of MicroPP also supply certain profile information as part of their MicroPPResume. Unless MicroPP.net specifically informs users at the time of collection, or unless the users give express consent, MicroPP.net does not disclose any personally identifiable information to a third party. The My Resume information includes the following: postal address, gender, date of birth, nationality, phone/fax number, social/ID number, country of residence, and marital status; working experience profile, type of work, level of responsibility, availability status, salary requirements, extent of willingness to travel, willingness to relocate, skills, educational background, and CV/resume. The resume information is only revealed to those prospective employers to which applications are specifically and directly sent and who are registered with MicroPP services. MicroPP.net might occasionally use a user's contact information (phone/fax, address) to contact a user in case of service problems though email is the preferred medium.
